The students of St. Mary’s Prep in Denville are a wonderful reminder to us all of the true meaning of Christmas. Members of the Beta Club, a nationally recognized Student and Leadership program, prepared holiday gift bags for every one of our Residents as a community service project. Each holiday gift bag contained various toiletries, and as Principal Giacchi explained, a “customized crossword puzzle booklet” which the children themselves designed as part of their computer class curriculum. The students even stayed after school and gave of their time to assemble the brightly colored and decorative bags. It is truly heart-warming see such a caring connection between our younger generation and our elderly. The acts of kindness demonstrated by these caring individuals brought so much joy! Thank you for helping to make Christmas even merrier for our Residents!
