Bishop Dominic Marconi’s 70th Anniversary
On Tuesday, May 30, The Most Reverend Bishop Dominic Marconi celebrated the 70th Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination here at St. Joseph’s Home. The main celebrant was Most Reverend Elias R. Lorenzo, O.S.B D.D and co-concelebrant was Most Reverend Michael A. Saporito, D.D both Auxiliary Bishops of the Archdiocese of Newark. The following were also celebrants: Reverend Charlie Pinyan, Vicar for Clergy, Reverend Stanley Gomes, Directory of Senior Clergy, Reverend Dieuseul Adain,Pastor of Holy Rosary/St. Michael’s Parish in Elizabeth and Reverend Sean McDonnell, Chaplain of St. Joseph’s Home.
After the Mass, Bishop’s friends joined him a celebratory dinner with the Residents and Little Sisters in the dining room.
It was a great honor having Bishop Dominic in celebrating this great milestone in his life.
