In New Jersey we don’t “go to the beach”, no, no, no. We “go down the shore” and our Residents went down the shore to Point Pleasant to spend the day on Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.
Since 1927, Jenkinson’s has been the place for visitors to go for fun and entertainment in Point Pleasant Beach. Although the attractions have changed over the years, the rides, arcades and eating places on Jenkinson’s Boardwalk are what draws folks back year after year, especially during the off season.
Our Residents had the best time during their recent trip, playing the arcade games, having lunch and just sitting, enjoying the sun, the beach and the ocean view. A visit to the gift shop was a must where many purchased Jenkinson’s famous homemade fudge and salt water taffy and seashore souvenirs. There is no better way to say good bye to summer than being down the Jersey shore.
