A wonderful evening of music, dance and good food was enjoyed by more than 200 people here at our home on March 31st. We shared what was obviously a much-appreciated event by all who attended. Celebrating with us were Sisters and friends from our homes in Philadelphia, Queens and The Bronx.
The music provided by Andy Cooney and his four-piece band was exceptional. Everyone joined in, singing, dancing or both. The corned beef, cabbage and potatoes, prepared by our Dietary Manager Carol, and her kitchen staff, were served to the lucky diners. The desert table was full of goodies, prepared by the Sisters and friends of St. Joseph’s home.
At evening’s end, a very lucky lady won the 50/50 raffle, which was quite substantial, so it all ended on an even happier note for her! The Sisters certainly know how to enjoy partying with the Residents and guests. If you aren’t Irish, you surely felt like one by the time the party evening ended! We are so blessed by the spirit of joy that prevails here at our home. Our thanks to all who prepared for yet another great event!
