Happiness, peace of mind, huge gratitude and overwhelming emotion fills our hearts as we think about our parents Ray and Bette LaConte, living at St. Joseph’s Home. From the moment we entered the building we KNEW that this was an incredibly special place. Every single person who works at St. Joseph’s is filled with compassion and love. It did not surprise us to discover that many staff members have over 20 years of service “under their belts’.  The care that our parents have received since their admission has been top notch! Their quality of life is amazing. Our Mom can see the sunrise from her room and Dad can see the sunset from his. We all refer to this setting as “Heaven on the hill”.  This is the cleanest facility we have ever seen. It gets a five star rating in our books on every level including Social work, nursing, meals, medication management, physical therapy and recreational activities. One could literally eat off of the floors! It is such a pleasure to visit our parents each day and KNOW that they are in the best of hands when we leave. We feel part of a big family here at St. Joseph’s and will be ever grateful for the mission and the humble service of Saint Jeanne Jugan and the Little Sisters of the Poor.

With huge gratitude and hugs for all of you!

The family of Bette and Ray LaConte
