What an exciting time to be part of the St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly Family!
How your past equals our future
You may already be drawn to the geriatric field because of a special relationship you’ve had with an elderly relative or neighbor. Perhaps you are curious, yet hesitant because you have never worked with this segment of society. No matter what type of work environment you may have experienced in the past, those who work here do so in a comforting, loving family-like setting.
A snapshot of our home
“Houses are made of brick and stone. Homes are made of love alone.” Our employees are part of the extended family which includes our Residents and Little Sisters. In following the mission of Saint Jeanne Jugan, foundress of the order of the Little Sisters of the Poor, our Residents are treated with the love, respect and the dignity they have earned. Our Sisters work together with staff to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional and medical needs of our Residents while maintaining a home-like setting.
Trust your instincts and answer the call
If you are energetic, kind-hearted, hard-working and not afraid of challenges, then you may consider joining our team. Working at St. Joseph's Home is an emotionally rewarding experience. Pride is evident as our team of employees provides the Residents with a clean room, a nutritious meal, the right medicine, a loving arm to assist in walking, or perhaps an extra dose of lotion lovingly applied.
