St. Joseph’s Home survives Hurricane Sandy

We at St. Joseph’s Home were quite fortunate that Hurricane Sandy only put our power out for two nights. Our backup generator provided electricity for the basics however we were without heat and hot water. Other than that we lost some large trees, had damage to an awning along with a swing and had one of our entrance bubble canopy sections blown off its frame causing it to break. Compared to countless others in the New York and New Jersey we were spared. We pray for all those who have lost so much.
